Tips On Reducing Hunger
Be busy and stop thinking about food!
In case you have not noticed, you mostly are hungry when you are not doing anything. Why? Because you think about the food when you're not doing anything. Personally, when I am dieting, I think about food when I am not preoccupied with anything else. By doing something, I don't mean just use your computer or watch a movie. That is the time when you eat the most. Do something active! If you have a favorite sport, such as basketball, volleyball, baseball, etc, go and play it with your friends. Not only it does burn calories, and it will be your cardio for the day, it will also keep you busy. Also, keep in mind that all this hunger is just in your head. If you really have to eat, eat a small protein-full meal, such as a protein bar, so you wouldn't gain those unneeded extra calories.
Eat every 2-3 hours
YES! It is obvious - eat, once you get hungry. However, your meals should be small. If you are on 1,800 calories a day diet, you should be eating 6 meals of 300 calories, or 7 meals 250 calories. If you eat often, you will satisfy your hunger for a while, and you should not be craving foods as much. Additionally, it will boost your metabolism and will make you burn more fat!
Eat complex and fibrous carbs. Avoid simple carbs
What I have noticed from my personal experience is that, when I eat complex carbohydrates, I tend not to crave foods as much. Complex carbohydrates are absorbed more slowly than simple carbs, therefore you will have the feeling of satiety for more time. Fibrous carbs are important to your weight loss diet as well. They fill you up and keep your blood sugars low - which means no insulin spikes. Try to avoid simple carbohydrates - they only give you insulin spikes as well. Insulin spikes create cravings and tend to make your mind even hungrier than it is.
Drink plenty of water
Drinking water is well known to aid in weight loss. By drinking plenty your body can remove waste from your body and give you more energy. Additionally, it will reduce your cravings, as it will fill you up. Whenever you feel like eating, try drinking water. If you don't like water, there are supplements that can be added to water to give it a delicious taste. I recommend using BCAA supplent Xtend by Scivation. You should be aiming to drink at least a gallon of water per day.
Exercise regularly
Have you ever noticed that after working out, you do not usually feel like eating? I most certainly have! Every time I workout, I do not want to eat afterwards. Exercising has been proven to reduce hunger. Do some lifting, or, if you prefer, you can do cardio sessions.
Drink a protein shake or eat a protein bar
Protein shakes and protein bars are full of protein, macro nutrient that helps you build muscle. By eating protein bars or drinking protein shakes, you will fill your body with important nutrients and satisfy your satiety. Not only will it promote your lose weight, but it will also help you build muscle.
Try appetite suppressants
Appetite suppressants are weight loss supplements that do what the name says - they suppress your appetite. Appetite suppressants will help you not to be hungry all the time. They should also make you eat less. However, keep in mind that different appetite suppressants work differently for different people. If one appetite suppressant did not work for you, it does not mean that it will not work for someone else. That being said, if one supplement did not work, try another one, until you find the one that works!

Solid advice. I think drinking a lot of water is really one of the best things to do. Protein seems to help a lot also.
